Jebus this thing is a tank. Well made, massive capacity and works as it should. I decided to season it while I was seasoning the Burger Smasher, so it now has a weathered look and matches the smasher.

For anyone interested. I bought 7 springs of two different sizes, 124mm and 140mm, 3.2mm thick about 2 weeks ago.
They are a nice even coil with no deformations or uneven pitches.
I'm using them as handles for a bbq cover and detacheable handles for bespoke 750mm long flat stainlo skewers.
